Dr. Agnė Narušytė is an art and a photography critic, curator, a docent in Vilnius Academy of Arts, research fellow at Lithuanian Culture Research Institute, the editor of the photography section at 7 Meno Dienos, she is also regularly writing commentaries for LRT radio broadcast Kultūros savaitė. Narušytė published her research in Nuobodulio estetika Lietuvos fotografijoje (VDA, 2008), Lietuvos fotografija: 1990–2010 („Baltos lankos“, 2011), Camera obscura: Lietuvos fotografija 1839–1945 (VDA, 2016) and Post Ars partitūra (“M puslapiai“, 2017). In 2019, Narušytė together with Lolita Jablonskiene, Laima Kreivyte and Jolanta Marcišauskytė-Jurašienė renewed the permanent exposition in the National Gallery of Art, which is now representing the history of modern art in Lithuania.
