Laima Kreivytė
Laima Kreivytė (1972) is an interdisciplinary artist, curator and writer based in Vilnius. In 2009 she was a curator of the Lithuanian Pavilion for the 53rd Venice Biennale. In 2019 Kreivytė co-curated the new display of the permanent collection of The National Gallery of Art in Vilnius. Currently she teaches at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. Kreivytė has published two books of poetry: Sapfo skai(s)tykla (Sappho’s Purgatorial Library, 2013) and Artumo aritmetika (Intimate Arithmetic, 2019). In 2018 Kreivytė was awarded the Government Prize for Culture and Arts for her work as independent curator and writer.
