Literature for body, or Non-literary disco

SATURDAY, 14th NOVEMBER - 21.00
DJ Miss America (Tomas Ramanauskas)
Arts Printing House, Black Hall (Šiltadaržio g. 6, Vilnius)
Free entrance, please register beforehand
Duration: 105 min (in Lithuanian)

Tomas Ramanauskas (DJ pseudonym is Miss America) is an advertising expert, businessman, teacher of creativity, publisher, event organiser, DJ, writer, and film director.

A reader’s DJ, that’s how Miss America introduces himself when he wants to boast even though he has no ground for using this pseudonym. One might have heard him in such events as “Nesakyk Mamai!” (Don’t Tell Mom) or “Šok Rok” (Dance Rock) and as a member of the trio “Metal On Metal”, while now his life has taken a fun cowboy turn with “Vaikinai Iš Padorių Šeimų” (Boys from Decent Families). Miss America has recently played very rarely: he has not performed alone this year yet. No doubt, he has agreed to do so this time because of the intellectual substance of the event, a honorarium and wish to make sure that book lovers can shake their heads as well as move their bodies while listening to music. Miss America says his playing will be better than Dan Brown’s writing.
